The venue of the 8th National Forum for Leadership of Blood Service in 2025 was officially announced  at the closing ceremony of the 7th National Forum on June 29, 2023.

The National Forum for Leadership, held by CSBT in odd years, serves as a platform to share experience and promote exchanges in new concepts and measures of construction and development of blood establishments. So far, seven successful Forum have been held. CSBT released an official notice on April 6 to solicit the organizer of the 8th National Forum in 2025. It was ultimately decided that Lianyungang Red Cross Regional Blood Bank to be the host for the 8th National Forum in 2025.

On the same day, the forum flag was passed on by President Zhu Yongming from SU Changshan, Director of Nanning Blood Center, the organizer of the 7th Forum, to Wang Bo, Director of Lianyungang Red Cross Regional Blood Bank, the organizer of the 8th Forum.
