On the afternoon of May 20, a group of leaders, including ZHU Yongming, the president of CSBT, LIU Qingning, the deputy secretary-general, WANG Pengli, the director of Jilin Province Blood Center, visited Mr. YANG Baotian, a retired expert in blood transfusion industry in Jilin.

As the former director of Jilin Province Blood Center, Mr. YANG has launched multiple investigation and research into the history of our blood collection and supply business. After almost 20 years of effort, he has led expert team to visit major cities in China, institutions, museums and libraries, collecting a vast amount of textual and graphic materials. At the end of last year, Mr. YANG’s team decided to donated all the collected 74 volumes of materials to CSBT. On behalf of CSBT, president ZHU extended gratitude to Mr. YANG and presented him with a letter of appreciation as well as the donation certificate.

Currently, CSBT has transferred the donated materials to Henan Red Cross Blood Center, which is the corresponding establishment of the Culture Committee, CSBT. These materials will be exhibited upon the opening of the new building of Henan Red Cross Blood Center.
