On May 8, Fujian Blood Center officially joined the CSBT Partnership Program, and its science education base was designated as one of CSBT’s Voluntary Blood Donation Science Education Base. Leaders such as ZHU Yongming, president of CSBT, and ZHANG Fuzhu, Inspector of the Fujian Provincial Health Commission, attended the meeting.

President ZHU congratulated the Fujian Provincial Blood Center on its inclusion in the Partner Program. He acknowledged Fujian’s significant achievements in promoting voluntary blood donation. Notably, the newly revised Fujian Provincial Blood Donation Regulations mandate that the provincial government develop an annual blood donation plan and expand the eligibility criteria for free blood usage. He expressed the hope that Fujian Blood Center would leverage this opportunity to elevate the standard of its publicity efforts, thereby attracting a greater number of individuals to engage. In addition, inspector ZHANG conveyed his gratitude to CSBT, and noted that this event marks a milestone in the development of Fujian's voluntary blood donation initiative.

Since its inauguration in 2017, the science education base of Fujian Blood Center has been conferred with multiple honors. It has played a crucial role in promoting public awareness on blood donation. On December 16, 2024, a group of experts from CSBT conducted an on-site evaluation and proposed recommendations for continuous improvement.

Since CSBT launched the Partner Program in 2018, many science education centers have been established by member institutions to promote voluntary blood donation. Fujian Blood Center has been the 14^th partner establishment designated by CSBT.
