On July 2, the national continuing medical education program 2025 Training Course on Innovative Advances and Applications in Clinical Transfusion, was held in Jiaxing. It was hosted by CSBT, organized by CSBT/T, and co-organized by Jiaxing Regional Blood Station. DAI Yehua, Deputy Director of the Health Commission of Jiaxing; ZHU Yongming, President of CSBT; HU Lihua, Director of the CSBT Expert Consultation Department and Advisor of CSBT/T; WANG Xuefeng, Chair of the CSBT/T; HU Xiaoyu, Chair of CSBT/HR, Director of the Anhui Blood Center; XIE Jue, CSBT Council Member and Vice Chair of the CBTA Clinical Blood Transfusion Committee; Qian Baohua, Vice Chair of the CSBT/T; and CHEN Fenghua, Vice Chair of CSBT/T, attended the opening ceremony. WANG Xuefeng presided over the ceremony.

Focusing on the cutting-edge developments in transfusion medicine, this training course has attracted professionals nationwide, including directors of clinical transfusion departments, technical core personnel from blood establishments, and clinical physicians to exchange views on the future development of clinical blood transfusion.

Firstly, President ZHU delivered a speech and extended his gratitude to the municipal Health Commission and all sectors for their support of blood undertakings as well as CSBT. Furthermore, he expressed gratitude to CSBT/T and the Jiaxing Regional Blood Station for their cooperation.

During the conference, a total of 13 renowned domestic experts delivered lectures on topics such as patient blood management, precise blood transfusion, the development of clinical blood transfusion in the intelligent era, and research on the directed differentiation of stem cells into platelets, sharing the cutting-edge achievements in transfusion medicine. In the closing ceremony, Chair WANG stated that this conference not only explored effective solutions to address clinical challenges, but also outlined a strategic framework for future research and practice. He hoped that all participants would integrate innovative ideas into clinical practice to enhance patient safety and treatment efficacy, and to promote the high-quality development of transfusion medicine.
