On September 10, 2025, the Smart Blood Management Seminar of 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) was successfully held in Beijing. This seminar was jointly organized by Beijing Red Cross Blood Center and the Secretariat of the Beijing Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, gathering approximately 200 participants, including leaders from the National Health Commission, Beijing Municipal Health Commission, Beijing Medical Association, the People's Health Press, and Huayuan Road Sub-district Office, as well as peers from CSBT, Beijing Society of Blood Transfusion, and institutions from Singapore, Hong Kong and Macao.
This year’s CIFTIS was themed on Digital Intelligence steers, Trade in Services refreshed. This seminar focused on Internet and A.I. technology, showcased cutting-edge research outcomes, and provided intelligent solutions for the full workflow of blood management, all of which are critical for advancing the dynamic prediction of blood collection, optimizing supply networks, and automating preparation processes. Leaders and experts from relevant institutions were also invited to attend this event, including China Mobile Group Beijing Co., Ltd., China Mobile (Chengdu) Industry Research Institute, and Zhongguancun Robot Industry Innovation Development Co., Ltd.
During the seminar, three notable achievements were released: the book of Benchmarking Management in the Blood Collection and Supply Industry, the A.I.-powered hotline 9521614, and the first Blood Identification and Packaging Robot System. Situated in the Capital of Excellence, Beijing Red Cross Blood Center has demonstrated a commitment to pioneering practice. These achievements have not only advanced technological innovation but also established a national benchmark for blood management through standardized and intelligent approaches. Furthermore, they have provided a replicable Beijing Model for the intelligent transformation of blood establishments nationwide.
