The Faculty of Laboratory Medical Science, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTUFLMS) held a ceremony to appointed professor in Shanghai Blood Center (SBC), on Mar 15th morning. Zhu Yongming, party secretary of SBC, Qian Kaicheng, director of Shanghai Institution of Blood Transfusion, Zhu Ziyan, deputy director of Shanghai Institution of Blood Transfusion, and Xiang Dong, director of Reference & HLA laboratory, were official recruited as teaching professor. Lu Taohong, director of SBC, was appointed as a visiting professor. Tong Jianhua, director of SJTUFLMS, Ni Peihua, deputy director of SJTUFLMS, Chen Ruiming, Jiang Xiaoxing, and Dai Jianmin from Department of Transfusion, SJTU attended the ceremony.

The appointment ceremony was presided over by Lu Taohong, he represents SBC to welcome the experts from SJTUFLMS, and gave speech.

Zhu Yongming introduced the recent situation of education works in SBC, and hoped to take this opportunity to further strengthen bilateral exchanges in personnel training, scientific research, and project cooperation.

Ni Peihua reviewed the 26-year cooperation with SBC in transfusion education field, and sincerely thanked the experts from SBC for their contribution to the development of Shanghai medical examinations, also hoped to further expand bilateral exchanges and cooperation in the field.

Finally, Tong Jianhua on behalf of SJTUSM awarded the letter of appointment to the five experts from SBC.
