CSBT launched a nationwide tour named Brilliant Red to propaganda excellent deeds of voluntary blood donation in 18 cities from March 29 to April 19, 2019.
The propaganda tour, divided into four lecture groups, delivered speeches in 18 cities, which spanned a distance of 6700 kilometers and attracted an audience of nearly 6500. At the same time, tens of thousands of netizens had participated in the attention through online video or graphics live broadcasting, topic discussion and other forms. Nearly 80 media had participated in the coverage. A wave of learning from voluntary blood donors and saluting for their selflessness had been set off throughout the country.
Sparks can start a prairie fire. Brilliant Red sowed the seeds of love to each city, and had laid a deep root in the hearts of the audience. The influence of propaganda was further enhanced by the local governments and blood services’ efforts. They had made full use of new media platforms such as websites, Weibo and WeChat to expand the coverage of the activities. Netizens had expressed that blood donors were the heroes of the new era and the real beings around us. Everyone should learn from their noble spirit and be beneficial to the society.
