The book launch of Annual Report on Development of China Blood Transfusion Industry(2019), compiled by CSBT, was held in Guizhou Province on the afternoon of September 18.

About 460 representatives from more than 220 blood establishments attended the book launch, including ZHU Yongming and other leaders of CSBT, and HE Tao, chief editor of this book, chair of working party on haemovigilance of CSBT and director of Chongqing Blood Center, and REN Wenwu, director of City and Green Development Branch of Social Sciences Literature Publishing House.

Firstly, HE Tao and REN Wenwu respectively introduced the compilation and the publication of this blue book of blood service. Then ZHU Yongming expressed his gratitude to all the authors for their hard work, and pointed out that the book comprehensively and systematically summarized, analyzed and discussed the situation of the blood services in 2018 in eight parts. He also expressed the hope that more and more experts in this field would join in the compilation of blue book.

After the book launch, 40 winners were randomly selected and each was given a book signed by president ZHU Yongming and chief editor HE Tao.
