The Blood Donation Run started on June 9, 2019 in the city of Shenzhen. It was aimed to raise the awareness of voluntary blood donation and to convey positive energy through a healthy way.

This had been the 5th  Blood Donation Run in Shenzhen. Aiming to get a fresh start and meet a new development, it was evolved from the World Blood Donor Day Run to Voluntary Blood Donation Run, which encouraged the public to participate in blood donation wherever and whenever. What’s more, this run was just a beginning of the national voluntary blood donation run. Following events were now arranged in Ningbo and Taiyuan.
