On June 14, 2019, the event Grateful to Have You for the World Blood Donor Day (WBDD) ended successfully in the city of Changsha. From lighting show in local landmarks for blood donors to reports by major medias, this event has obtained great social attention in the early stage and will gain sustained impact among public.  

Blood donors and recipients who do not know each other are linked together by blood. This event was served to thank blood donors for their life-saving gifts of blood and encourage citizens to eliminate misunderstandings and participate in blood donation so that a harmonious society of safe blood for all could be constructed.
