On the morning of July 1^st, 2021, ZHU Yongming, the President of CSBT, successfully donated platelet after registration, health survey and pre-donation examination in Jiaxing, where the Communist Party of China (CPC) was born, to celebrate CPC’s centennial. The commemorative atmosphere affected all the blood donors and employees present. 

Prior to blood donation, he said in an interview by Jiaxing TV Channel that, as a party member, it was an honor to celebrate the special day by this way. Before blood donation, President ZHU also visited several special donors who were about to give the 100^th blood, and had photos with them. After donation, President ZHU received gratitude and a gift -a red boat model- from the director of Zhejiang Provincial Blood Center and Deputy Director of the Jiaxing Municipal Health Commission.

Meanwhile, WANG Xun, the Deputy Director of Shanghai Institute for Blood Transfusion, also donated platelets in Jiaxing.

President ZHU, been engaged in blood work for more than 30 years, has been awarded many honors, such as National Gold Award for Blood Donation, National Promotion Award for Blood Donation. The donation he made on this occasion has won the honor for the CPC.
