On the morning of July 8 and July 9, a total of 190 medical staff from Bengbu Municipal Second People’s Hospital, Bengbu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Bengbu Maternity and Child Health Care Hospital, Municipal CDC and Health Inspection, donated 39,900mL of whole blood to celebrate CPC’s centennial with practical action during the study of Party History, which  contributing to the local blood supply. 

OU Ya, the director of disciplinary inspection office and the 1^st party branch of medical technology from Bengbu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, presented that voluntary blood donation was the obligation of every citizen, and party members especially should take the lead and set examples.

ZHENG Lei, a probationary party member of the 1^st party branch of medical technology from Bengbu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, expressed that before this donation, a low-fat diet and continuous exercises were adopted to maintain his health, which made his 7^th voluntary blood donation.

As an indicator of the progress of social civilization, voluntary blood donation which benefits the country and the people is a public welfare undertaking related to social harmony and well-being of the people's livelihood. It is appealed that more caring people should join in voluntary blood donation.
