The 6th National Leadership Forum of Blood Service, hosted by CSBT and co-organized by both Committee on Development of Middle and Small-Sized Blood Station of CSBT (CSBT/MS ) and Shenzhen Blood Center, was held in Shenzhen from 27 to 28 October. 

The theme of this forum was Construction and Development, Reform and Innovation. Leaders from government and experts from blood industry delivered 22 excellent reports on the following three topics: Government support for blood services, Construction and development of blood establishments, and Reform and innovation of performance allocation. 

ZHU Yongming, the President of CSBT, together with ZHANG Yingji, the Director of Red Cross Society of Shenzhen Branch, ZHU Weigang, the Chair of the CSBT/MS, NING Li, the Director of Shenzhen Blood Center, and HU Wei, the Director of Zhejiang Province Blood Center, attended the opening ceremony.

Although the forum was broadcast live online due to COVID-19 pandemic, there were still more than 2,000 registrations and over 13,000 online participants.

On the closing ceremony, ZHU Yongming expressed his gratitude to everyone who had worked hard for the forum, and look forward to meet everyone at the next 7th Forum in 2023.
