In order to implement the spirit of the National Standardization Development Outline, promote the construction of standardization system in the field of blood transfusion medicine in China, and fulfill the professional role and technical support of CSBT, CSBT has formulated two group standards: Technical Guidelines for Genotyping of Erythrocyte Blood Group and Guidelines for the Database Construction of Blood Donor for Compatible Platelet Transfusion. These two group standards comply with the Measures for the Administration of CSBT’s Group Standards (2019) and meet the development needs of the industry. They are now issued and will be officially implemented on November 10, 2021.
