From June 7 to 21,2022, Light up China with Love for World Blood Donor Day(WBDD), jointly hosted by CSBT and Shenzhen Sharing Network Co., Ltd., and participated by 130 association members, had successfully attracted over 10,000 online attention. Landmark buildings in 120 cities were lit up during this festival.

Light up China with love is an annual brand event of CSBT for WBDD. By means of Internet, CSBT aims to awaken more public concern and awareness of blood donation.

Since the beginning of the event, netizens have shown great enthusiasm in concern and support for blood donation. By 24:00 on June 21st, more than 10,000 netizens had shown willingness to donate blood; 24,000 netizens had lit up their own blood donation day and created e-Certificates using their favorite images as background; and 15,000 netizens participated in the online quiz game to learn about blood donation; and 120 cities were lit up by more than 10,000 online clicks. Besides, CSBT member units had carried out kinds of offline activities for WBDD.

The 2022 World Blood Donor Day slogan “Donating blood is an act of solidarity. Join the effort and save lives” is to draw attention to the roles that voluntary blood donations play in saving lives. Through the Internet and social media platform, a wide public awareness of regular blood donation and safe blood is hoped to promoted.
