On August 18^th, the 5^th Chinese Doctor's Day, a blood donation campaign named Angels in White was organized by Luoyang Regional Blood Station, responding to the appeal of Municipal Health Commission. During this year. A total of 14,800 mL of whole blood and 180 units of apheresis platelets were donated by 56 employees of the blood station, whose staff was just above 100.

As the advocator, promoter and executor of voluntary blood donation, the staff of blood establishment has always been the vanguard. Whenever the blood supply is insufficient, they always take the lead in blood donation without hesitation. According to statistics, since the implementation of  non-remunerated  blood donation work, the staff of Luoyang Blood Station have made 1,374 blood donations in the past 31 years, and 90 of them have successively won the National Award for Blood Donation, demonstrating their professional dedication of  reverence for life lives and great love without boundaries, and making them a veritable Living Blood Bank of Luoyang.
