On October 18, the 9th work meeting of CSBT’s 7th standing council of CSBT was held, which was presided over by President ZHU Yongming. There were 40 standing council members attending The meeting, as well as 20 representatives, including the supervisory committee members, chairs of certain branch committees and directors from some blood centers (non-standing council member). 

President ZHU initiated the opening speech with his welcome and appreciation to all the attendees arranging time to attend the meeting on time and supporting CSBT’s work of all aspects. President ZHU presented the report on Review of CSBT's Work in 2022, and then introduced the main topics of this meeting, including the review of the 11th National Congress of CSBT as well as retrospects and prospects of 24 branch committees. 

During the meeting, Professor LIU Jiaxin, vice president of CSBT and chair of the Committee on Scientific Research of Transfusion Medicine(CSBT/SR), summarized the 11th National Congress of CSBT on behalf of the organizers of the congress (Blood Transfusion Institute of the Academy of Medical Sciences, Dalian Blood Center), CSBT/SR and the CSBT Secretariat. Professor LIU elaborated on six aspects, including general performance of the congress, related work of CSBT/SR, educational/conference affairs, enterprise investment, and the experience&reflection.

By the date of this meeting, the term of 24 branch committees has passed half, who have dedicated greatly in academic development of blood transfusion and industrial future. At this meeting, 24 chairs respectively reported their work accomplished in last 2 years and the outlook for 2023.
