On March 22, the signing ceremony for International Exchange Project Fund was held by CSBT and WANTAI BioPharm, marking an official reboot of the project, which was  originally founded on April 9, 2019.

This fund was initially aimed to assist blood establishment practitioners, especially the young researchers, in international exchanges so as to improve the whole industry development in China. In the year of foundation, the fund had provided full funding for 4 membership experts attending international conferences, allowing them to present their research outputs abroad. 

In 2023, CSBT will further promote academic exchanges at home and abroad,  and encourage professional researchers to submit papers and give presentations at international conferences. When the application meets the requirements of the fund, the program will provide financial assistance.

In the future, more communication channels with international organizations, such as ISBT, will be established to help domestic scholars participate in international academic exchanges, understand the latest research findings, and to promote the academic standards in blood industry.
