On June 29 2023, Blue Book of Blood Collection and Supply Services --Annual Report on Development of China’s Blood Collection and Supply Industry (2023), was officially released.

HU Wei, the chief editor, reviewed the compilation process of the blue book in his speech. From the discussion on the outline and content at the first preparatory meeting of editorial committee, to the revisions, expert review and proofreading of the initial drafts, everyone overcame various difficulties to achieve the goal of releasing the Blue Book in the first half of the year for the first time since its inception.

WANG Yuxia, deputy chief editor of City and Green Development Branch of Social Sciences Academic Press, the publisher of the Blue Book, mentioned in her speech that  blue book compiled by CSBT is an annual intellectual report that analyzes, studies and predicts the development of blood transfusion industry from a holistic perspective. It provides important references for the operation and development of transfusion industry as well as for the discipline construction of transfusion medicine. 

Annual Report on Development of China’s Blood Collection and Supply Industry (2023), as the eighth volume of Blue Book of Blood Collection and Supply, discusses the development of blood collection and supply as well as clinical blood transfusion in 2022.

President ZHU Yongming, Chief Editor HU Wei and Deputy Chief Editor WANG Yuxia unveiled the Blue Book.
