The venue of the 12th National Congress of CSBT in 2024 was officially announced at the closing ceremony of the 7th National Forum for Leadership of Blood Service on June 29 2023. 

The national congress held in even years by CSBT is an academic event attracting the most participants and representing the highest level of influence. So far, eleven successful congresses have been held. To ensure the convening of the upcoming 12th Congress aiming at promoting the development of transfusion medicine, CSBT released an official notice on April 6, 2023 to solicit the organizer of the 12th Congress in 2024. After evaluating the justifications, venue and safeguards, it was decided that Anhui Province Blood Center to be the host of the 12th Congress in 2024.

The congress flag of CSBT, a kind of spirit and inheritance, made its debut on the same day, and was handed over by President ZHU Yongming to HU Xiaoyu, director of Anhui Province Blood Center.
