Seminar on contingency management, blood donation complaints and transfusion Risks of Jiangsu was held in Nantong, from October 17 to 20.

Several experts were invited, including ZHU Yongming, President of CSBT, GU Bangchao, Director of the Contingency Office of Jiangsu Commission of Health, YE Xiaofan, Vice director of Jiangsu Province Blood Center, and ZHOU Xiaoyu, Director of Transfusion Department of Jiangsu Province Hospital. These experts delivered insightful presentations on prevention and response to contingency, essential aspects of blood contingency management, blood transfusion safety, and effective handing of complaints during blood donation services. They also shared their practical experiences and methods.

This seminar attended by prominent experts has provided a platform for learning and communication among blood services. It will enhance our capability to manage contingency, handle complaints and prevent transfusion risks, thereby promoting the development of blood collection and supply work.
