The 14th Round of Education Course for Leadership of Blood Services(ECLBS), jointly organized by Shanghai Blood Center, WHO Collaborating Center for Blood Transfusion Services and CSBT, and supported by professional blood transfusion  organizations at home and broad, was successfully concluded on November 10, 2023 in Shanghai. A total of 27 leaders, experts and scholars both at home and abroad were invited to give lectures on 22 core courses and 8 expanded courses. The workshop also organized 10 other forms of educational activities, including field trips to blood establishments and visits to the site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

The ECLBS organized in 2006 was first held in 2008. Up to this year, it has been successfully held 14 rounds, with a total of 693 trainees and 684 graduates. The trainee composition of this round of ECLBS has set four records, with the largest number of participants, the largest number of principal leaders, the largest number of newly appointed leaders, and the largest number of leaders transferred from the outside to the blood system.
