On September 24, 2024, the 13^th work meeting of CSBT’s 7^th Standing Council convened in Hefei. Hosted by president ZHU Yongming, the meeting invited LV Hangjun, chair of the Supervisory Committee, and LI Fang, a member of the Supervisory Committee, along with chairs from other branch committees and key leaders from provincial blood centers. It was planned to accommodate 51 participants; however, 40 attended, with 6 excused and 5 absent. 

President ZHU initially introduced the agenda of this meeting. Vice president YANG Huichuan then reported on the Management of CSBT Leaders and Staff (draft); and director LIN Junjie reported on the Management of CSBT Group Standard (revision), both of which were later approved through voting. Secretary LI Shunping reported on the Management of CSBT members(draft), as well as the qualification of new applicants. After a vote, new members were admitted to the society. Deputy secretary-general LIU Qingning reported on the amendments to the CSBT Agenda (draft). Besides, director ZHAI Qing presented the work progress of CSBT, the adjustment in representatives of council members, changes in membership, and the scheme of CSBT office relocation, which was also approved by the meeting.

After the work meeting, president ZHU then presided over the preparatory meeting of the 12^th national congress of CSBT. During this meeting, Vice president LIU Jiaxin and deputy secretary-general LIU Qingning respectively introduced the preparations of the coming congress, followed with a summary by President ZHU, who also expressed his expectation on this event.
