On February 20 and 21, 2025, the 14^th Working Meeting and the 12^th Council Meeting of CSBT’s 7^th Standing Council were convened in Harbin.  

At the working meeting on February 20, president ZHU Yongming provided an overview of the preparations for the 12^th council meeting. He further elaborated on the drafts for CSBT’s 2024 Work Summary and 2025 Work Plan, which are to be submitted for formal deliberation by the council. Additionally, he highlighted the core components and implementation guidelines of the Voice in Unison Plan. Deputy secretary-general LIU Qingning, updated on the preparation progress for the coming National Blood Establishment Management Congress and the Annual Meetings of CSBT’s branch committees. The participants actively engaged in in-depth discussions, putting forward constructive proposals regarding critical issues, including CSBT’s operations and the industrial development.

At the opening ceremony of the 12^th Council Meeting on February 21, president ZHU and deputy director YAN Song from Harbin Municipal Health Commission delivered speeches. Firstly, president ZHU expressed sincere appreciation to all stakeholders for their support and acknowledged the significant achievements in blood collection and supply business in Harbin. Deputy director YAN outlined the challenges and corresponding strategies in blood industry, and anticipated that this meeting could facilitate the development of the business. During the meeting, vice president LIU Jiaxin of CSBT officially presented the List of Outstanding Member Establishemnts in 2024 and the List of Outstanding Branch Committees in 2024. A total of 30 member establishements, such as Anhui Provincial Blood Center, as well as 5 branches, such as the Working Party on Blood Donation Mobilization (CSBT/BDM), were formally acknowledged for their exceptional contributions.

During the meeting, certain reports presented by president ZHU were approved, including the 2024 Annual Work Summary, 2025 Work Plan, 2024 Financial Settlement Report, 2025 Financial Budget Proposal, as well as the work reports of CSBT’s main leadership. Furthermore, the meeting formally adopted several critical proposals, such as the Proposal for Adjustment of CSBT Leadership, the Application for Admission of New Members and the Application for Membership Fees Reduction (Draft). To conclude the meeting, president ZHU emphasized the critical importance of all members uniting to promote voluntary blood donation, safeguard blood supply, and collaboratively drive the sustainable development of China's blood industry.
