To facilitate the advancement of CSBT branch operations, execute the annual work plan effectively, CSBT convened annual branch work meetings in Nanjing, from March 20 to 21 and in Xi'an, from March 27 to 28.

During the meeting ,president ZHU Yongming expressed gratitude to all chairs, vice chairs and members for their contributions over the past year and affirmed their active participation. He acknowledged their proactive engagement and outlined specific requirements and expectations for the future work of the branches. Furthermore, president ZHU emphasized that each branch should leverage its professional strengths, enhance collaborative efforts, and take a leading role in vital areas such as technological innovation, talent development, and industry standardization. He underscored the importance of integrating the relevant requirements into daily practices, thereby advancing the development of the blood transfusion business.

Vice President LIU Jiaxin stated in the meeting that CSBT is accepting proposals for 2025 group standards and expert consensuses. He also highlighted the upcoming 1^st Research & Innovation Conference for Blood Transfusion Medicine, which is scheduled to take place in Kunming from April 24th to 26th. The event will focus on the achievements of national key research programs and cutting-edge academic progresses. During the event, a number of distinguished young scholars will present keynote addresses.

This work meeting has facilitated a platform for communication and collaboration across CSBT branches, thereby clarifying the future direction. It has represented a significant step toward advancing the industrial development.
