On April 10, a training course for CSBT publicity correspondents and docents was conducted in Sichuan, with the objective of enhancing the effectiveness of publicity work. This event was attended by ZHU Yongming, president of CSBT, DING Wenyi, director of CSBT/BDM and GAO Jie, deputy director of CSBT/BDM, as well as publicity correspondents and docents from 31 provinces across the country.

During the meeting, president ZHU expressed his gratitude to the publicity personnel for their contributions and extended congratulations on their accomplishments. He reviewed that since the establishment of the publicity correspondent team in 2019, the number of articles published on CSBT website had increased from 6,800 to over 9,200 in 2024, registering a growth rate of 35%. Facing the current state of voluntary blood donation recruitment, he underscored the significance of publicity. He pointed out that in 2025, initiatives such as the One Voice Program would continue to be carried forward. He expected that the trainees could enhance publicity capabilities, thereby driving the national development of blood donation publicity. Furthermore, president ZHU presented certificates to 6 newly recruited correspondents.

Subsequently, CUI Jianpeng from the CSBT Secretariat delivered a summary on CSBTs publicity work in 2024, and outlined the key priorities for 2025. In addition, working experiences were shared by SUN Peng from Weinan Blood Station, LV Xiaoyuan from the Shandong Blood Center, and LI Minghao from Beijing Meiao Shengshida Co., Ltd. Deputy director GAO Jie introduced the One Voice Program, highlighting its achieved progress, and further challenges; therefore calling for more impetus.

In summary, director DING emphasized the significance of ideological construction of the publicity team and the capabilities of blood establishments. He expected that the development of voluntary blood donation publicity could be enhanced by further information sharing and improvements in publicity effectiveness.
