On December 20, the 2025 Working Meeting of CSBT Volunteer General Team was held at Jiangsu Blood Center (JSBC). ZHU Yongming, President of CSBT, LIU Qingning, Deputy Secretary-General of CSBT; and leaders and representatives from 16 branches attended the meeting. YE Xiaofan, Director of JSBC presided over the meeting.
In his opening address, President ZHU, on behalf of CSBT, extended a welcome to representatives from all branches for their participation in the meeting, encouraging service experience sharing and discussion on the work of the team. He emphasized that the Volunteer General Team, which encompasses blood establishments, enterprises, and volunteer groups, advanced the cause of voluntary blood donation through various modalities. He underscored the need for CSBT and the team to collaborate closely to implement the Blood Donation Law, enhance services for blood donors and volunteers, and promote the development of voluntary blood donation.
The meeting reviewed the work progress of the General Team and its branches in 2025, conducted exchanges on future work, and issued a series of specific recommendations. General Team Leader YE, on behalf of the General Team and its branches, extended her gratitude to CSBT for its support. She stated that, in 2026, under the leadership of CSBT, the General Team will collaborate with more experts, ensure the effectiveness of all work through strong organizational and resource guarantees, and contribute to promoting voluntary blood donation among young citizens and standardizing blood services. During the meeting, President Zhu issued the appointment letter of Chief Captain to YE Xiaofan.
Founded in 2018, the CSBT Volunteer General Team is a national volunteer organization registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs and affiliated with CSBT. Since its establishment, the General Team has engaged in various volunteer service initiatives, maintaining its professionalism throughout the planning, organization, and implementation processes. It has recruited members and expanded branch teams while continuously improving its management system and personnel structure.
