The Annual Symposium for Exchange Cadres of CSBT Held in Jinan

On January 9, 2026, the Annual Symposium for Exchange Cadres of CSBT was held in Jinan.  ZHU Yongming, President of CSBT, GONG Huaizheng, Director of Shandong Blood Center, HU Xiaoyu, Director of Anhui Blood Center, YE Xiaofan, Director of Jiangsu Blood Center, the other relevant leaders, temporary cadres and CSBT secretariat, attended the meeting. This event was presided over by LIU Qingning, deputy secretary-general of CSBT.

During the meeting, President ZHU expressed gratitude to the exchange cadres and their respective institutional leaders for their participation and support of the work of CSBT. He stated that the exchange cadres had played a pivotal role in enabling the society to navigate the transition period and establish institutional frameworks for its healthy development. Since the project’s launch in 2017, it has evolved from addressing the CSBT’s staffing shortage at its inception to returning to its founding mission—emerging as a helpful initiative, as well as a key platform for communication and talent cultivation among member establishments.
In addition, the participating leaders shared their experiences in cultivating exchange cadres, expressed gratitude for the platform established by CSBT, and reached a consensus that CSBT has provided high-caliber support for talent development among member institutions. This support facilitates the enhancement of exchange cadres professional competence and industry awareness, and enables growth for both individuals and their respective organizations.

Furthermore, representatives of exchange cadres shared their frontline work experiences, and engaged in in-depth discussions on critical issues in industry development. During the seminar on Incentive Measures for Promoting Voluntary Blood Donation Among College Students, representatives put forward suggestions from multiple perspectives such as policy guidance, publicity and promotion, service optimization, and rights&interests protection. This has pooled strength for improving the incentive mechanism and enhancing college students’ participation in voluntary blood donation.
